A new sports complex, “Prezidentsky,” has officially opened in Magadan.
The ice arena is fully operational, accommodating up to 840 spectators, and is set to host various regional competitions. The facility has already been tested and appreciated by the athletes it was built for.
The pride of the “Prezidentsky” sports complex is its ice arena, constructed in full compliance with Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) international standards, using technologies developed by Russian manufacturer PROSTOR. The rink features five layers of ice, supported by a refrigeration system that maintains sub-zero temperatures.
Hockey players have already played their first matches at the arena, immediately noting the high-quality ice surface.
Future plans for the facility include regular training sessions and major competitions. With a total area of nearly 20,000 square meters, the sports complex can simultaneously accommodate up to 300 athletes and 700 spectators.
