An indoor ice rink with artificial ice, featuring an ice surface of 30×61m or smaller, designed for:
Amateur hockey league competitions
Training sessions in ice hockey and figure skating
Public skating sessions
Small indoor training rinks are primarily constructed using rapid-assembly building technologies. These include two types of metal frame structures:
Insulated tent-covered structures
Structures with mounted sandwich panels
Compared to traditional capital construction, these building types offer more cost-effective solutions while maintaining functionality.
First Floor:
Contains auxiliary facilities, including:
Lobby with a cloakroom
Locker rooms, showers, and restrooms for athletes
Equipment rental station
Storage rooms
Administrative and staff facilities
Technical rooms
Second Floor:
Typically includes:
A cafe or lounge areas
Additional multifunctional spaces
According to KHL regulations, the recommended ice arena size is 28×60 m, with the ability to be adjusted to 26×58 m, 26×56 m, and 28×56 m.
Specific requirements can be customized based on special technical specifications.
Specialized air distribution systems are installed in designated zones to ensure optimal comfort for both athletes and spectators.
Ventilation equipment with dehumidification can be installed inside the building or outside, at the end of the structure. It maintains proper air temperature and humidity levels in key zones.
A container-type refrigeration system is installed outside the building.
Additional options are available, including low-noise operation and heat recovery systems.
The water treatment system ensures the required ice quality.
A mandatory water quality inspection is conducted at the site, analyzing impurities and chemical compounds.
Hockey boards can be equipped with premium features, fully compliant with FHR (Russian Ice Hockey Federation) regulations.
Additional spectator protection options include tempered glass or acrylic shielding.
