Today, on October 10, the official opening of the modern “Vostochny” Ice Sports Complex took place in Vrangel, Primorsky Krai. The event was honored by the presence of legendary hockey player Vyacheslav Fetisov and two-time world champion Ilya Kovalchuk.
PROSTOR specialists carried out the design, production, and installation of the refrigeration systems, ice field technological slab, ventilation, and air humidity control systems for the arena.
All ice technology equipment was manufactured in Russia at PROSTOR’s state-of-the-art domestic production facility, including:
The Ice Palace can accommodate up to 120 athletes at a time, with a daily capacity of about 1,000 visitors. Its high-tech infrastructure will make it a key center for hockey and other winter sports in the region.
Following the official opening ceremony, a friendly match between youth hockey teams took place, with Ilya Kovalchuk joining the game. The ceremonial puck drop was performed by Vyacheslav Fetisov.
