The Supreme Hockey League (VHL)—a league of professionals—has officially started its season at the “Arktika” Sports Palace in Norilsk, now hosting Team Norilsk for the first time!
Located beyond the Arctic Circle, the Norilsk Sports Palace has been a key facility since its commissioning in 1970, serving over 1,500 athletes. This year, the arena underwent a phased modernization featuring the latest PROSTOR technologies, including:
Reconstruction of the technological ice slab
Installation of PROSTOR’s injury-safe hockey boards, fully compliant with FHR (Russian Ice Hockey Federation) and international standards
