Hockey is one of the most injury-prone sports, combining high speeds and intense physical contact. Player health has long been a top priority. Acknowledging this responsibility, we have developed one of the safest board systems, Safetyfence, which is a proprietary and specialized design by PROSTOR.
In accordance with the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) regulations, this type of board is used in ice arenas for professional and international competitions at the KHL and NHL level.
The unique U-shaped pocket system allows the installation of panoramic curved glazing up to 2 meters wide on radii, as per the customer’s request, and when combined with the mobility system, ensures that the enclosure will not become excessively rigid.
The maximum option selection includes an active damping system, which allows nearly double the mobility of the board compared to metal frame boards (whether aluminum or steel).
